The Story of BKMC

Mission Statement

The mission of the Brothas Keeper Motorcycle Club is to establish a spirit of camaraderie among club members and use this as a positive building block throughout the community, primarily providing and supporting needy organizations amid commitment and a common ambition, and to assist them in achieving their goals, with individuals who are confident, competent, and caring; through leadership, to develop a standard of excellence for generations to come.

Foundation

Who we are, our name was derived from the Book of Genesis. After Cain murdered his brother Abel, God asked Cain, “where his brother was?” Cain answered, “I know not, am I my brother’s keeper?”

Cain’s words have come to symbolize people’s unwillingness to accept responsibility for the welfare of their fellow brethren.

Gen. 4:9

Through teachings of past leaders we find that the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.

Goals and a Positive Projection

Our goal is to take the negative outlook that people often relate motorcyclist with and replace it with positive revelation. Throughout years the average person seemed to react to people who ride motorcycles and belong to a club or organization as “gangs”. We want to use that attraction and build on it to enlighten the community that we are people with families and careers too. Furthermore utilizing the resources we have to make our communities safer through education and becoming more involved with the youth and church organizations. People rarely get an opportunity to do something in their lifetime to make a difference this is our way of showing, with good leadership and competent individuals there is always room for improvement, in every aspect of life.
